Craftsmanship & Details

Tandem Skydiving in Chicago Tandem skydiving in Chicago is the ultimate weekend adventure, offering the thrill of freefall and breathtaking views over the city. Known as one of life's most exhilarating experiences, skydiving is an adventure that challenges even the bravest, but with the safety and guidance of a professional tandem instructor, it's an experience anyone can enjoy. Before taking the plunge, you'll be suited up in proper skydiving gear and guided through a few 'dirt dives,' practicing exits from a mock aircraft. You'll also learn the basics of canopy control and safe landing procedures to ensure you feel comfortable and prepared for the jump. After the skydive briefing, it's time to board the plane for a scenic 15-minute flight, climbing to 14,000 feet--equivalent to the height of eight Sears Towers. Once you've reached altitude, the final safety checks are made, and it's time to jump! Reaching speeds of 120 mph, the freefall offers 50 seconds of pure adrenaline as you plummet through the open sky. The sensation of floating on a cushion of air while speeding toward the ground is like nothing else. After the parachute deploys, the experience transforms into a calm, serene glide, giving you the chance to take in the stunning views of the Chicago skyline and surrounding landscapes. During this peaceful descent, your instructor will teach you how to control the parachute, guiding the direction and speed as you glide back to earth. After touching down, the rush of this unforgettable skydive will stay with you for weeks to come. A weekend tandem skydiving jump in Chicago is the perfect way to combine thrills and spectacular views, making it a bucket-list experience for anyone looking to try something extraordinary.
